25th Anniversary
NYFTE celebrated its 25th Birthday and after eating lots of cake we performed our signature dance 'Crown and Sausage' including past, present and parent members of NYFTE.

DERT and DERTy
In the national rapper tournament this year, both our senior and youth teams won awards. Our youth team came first place in the DERTy competition, and our senior team won best newcomer in the main tournament. We are very proud of both teams and hope they maintain this high standard.
Recent News
The dates for NYFTE performances have been released, and include appearances at Chippenham, Kimpton and Otley Folk Festivals, as well as our own Bristol Youth Folk event. Watch the News page for more information.

NYFTE took Sidmouth Folk Festival by storm, performing over the first weekend. Current and past members of the team also took part in many other events, from calling, the John Gasson Jig Competition and the Eye on the Future concert.
