A Morris side based in Stourbridge.

Bristol Morris Men

 

Several former members dance with, or are associated with, Bristol Morris Men,

Broadstairs Folk Week

 

Broadstairs is a great festival on the east coast of Kent

Chippenham Folk Festival

 

Our 'home' festival.  NYFTE are regulars at Chippenham. The festival has been very supportive of NYFTE. We think they are great!

The English Folk Dance & Song Society

Fool's Gambit

A young, energetic Cotswold Morris side formed in 2010 and featuring a number of ex-NYFTE members (and even some current ones at times).

The Morris Federation

The UK's larges association of Morris and traditional dance teams.

We are members of the Morris Federation.

Otley Folk Festival

 

Otley is a festival run up in the north of England by two of our parents.

 

Out of Hand

 

Out of Hand is a ceilidh band made up from former members of NYFTE

The Outside Capering Crew

 

The Crew perform exciting & funny dances to a high standard, and the Bacca Pipes dance performed by NYFTE was inspired by their version. There is a strong NYTE presence in the team.

Pecsaetan

 

A Sheffield based women's Cotswold side, with a number of ex-NYFTE members and some current committee members as dancers. 

The Shropshire Bedlams and Martha Rhoden's Tuppeny Dish

 

Border Morris side from, ummm, Shropshire.

Warwick Folk Festival

 

One of the festivals at which NYFTE has appeared on multiple ocassions.

Whitby Folk Week

 

NYFTE have appeard at this festival several times over the years.

Recent News

 

2024 saw three NYFTE teams take part in DERT / DERTy in Whitby. Well done to all involved.

The Spring Concert held in Denstone College for the first time was an amazing display of the 2024 repertoire.
