Welcome to NYFTE!
The National Youth Folklore Troupe of England (NYFTE - pronounced "Nifty"), is a talented group of young people aged 10 – 18 with a passion for traditional music, song and dance. The group, whose members represent all the regions within England, come together in the spring to put together their repertoire for that year, and then travel to locations across England performing at events in a variety of ways, including ceilidhs, displays and concerts. The repertoire represents many English traditions, some popular and some less well known.
Please follow the links for further information about how NYFTE works, how to join us, or where to see NYFTE perform. If you can’t find what you are looking for, please do get in touch using the form on the contact page.
